Full adherence to global healthcare data standards.
End-to-End Encryption
Your scans and data are encrypted at rest and in transit.
Transparent Access
Clearly defined protocols for who can see clinical data.
Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide high-resolution diagnostic services. This includes clinical CBCT scans, patient identifiers (as provided by medical professionals), and technical telemetry from diagnostic stations. All collection is performed through secure, authenticated channels.
How We Use Data
Collected data is used primary for:
- Facilitating instant cloud delivery of diagnostic imaging.
- Enabling specialist referrals and collaboration.
- Maintaining station health and network uptime.
- Research and development to improve AI-assisted diagnosis (anonymized data only).
Clinical Security Note
DentalScanCenter does not sell clinical data to third-party advertisers. We operate as a pure-play infrastructure provider. Your clinical integrity and patient confidentiality are our primary operational metrics.
Data Retention & Minimization
Clinical scans are retained according to the statutory requirements of the jurisdiction in which the scan was performed (typically 7-10 years for dental records). Diagnostic station telemetry is cycled every 90 days. We practice data minimization, ensuring only essential clinical metadata is associated with patient records in our secondary indexing clusters.
Tracking & Technical Telemetry
We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. Our platform utilizes local storage and essential session tokens to:
- Maintain secure authentication states (Dentist Console).
- Track upload progress for multi-gigabyte CBCT volumes.
- Cache diagnostic visualization preferences.
Third-Party Infrastructure
DentalScanCenter partners with tier-1 cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS HealthOmics, Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare) to ensure physical security and global redundancy. These partners are required to sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and maintain SOC2, Type II certification.
Your Rights & Data Portability
Qualified professionals may request a complete export of their clinical history in standard DICOM format. You have the right to request correction of clinical metadata and the deletion of non-regulatory required telemetry data. Direct all inquiries to compliance@dentalscancenter.com.
